Beautyworld Middle East 2024: Day Two Highlights – talking Beauty Tech, age defying beauty and Awards night!

  • The second day of Beautyworld Middle East saw thousands more attendees visit Dubai World Trade Centre to enjoy the region’s largest trade fair for the beauty and wellness industry and network with just under 2,000 global exhibitors
  • Tuesday’s line up included energising live hair and beauty demonstrations at beautyLIVE, more topical discussions at the Next in Beauty Conference and the occasion everyone has been waiting for – the Beautyworld Middle East Awards 2024.  

Dubai, UAE: Day two of the 28th edition of the region’s largest international trade fair for the beauty and wellness industry showcased a global offering of talent, insights, products and services.

Beautyworld Middle East 2024 welcomed thousands attendees through the Dubai World Trade Centre’s doors, all came to network and do business with the world’s most innovative and leading brands.

Day Two highlights:

Beauty Tech

Amongst the nine product segments at this year’s Beautyworld Middle East is the Beauty Tech section which is the place for attendees to discover new, innovative, tech-driven products and solutions that are set to shake up the beauty and personal care market. Think AI-driven skincare, DNA Analysis, 3D Printing, Smart Make-Up/Tattoo Printers and more.

Next in Beauty Conference

The Next in Beauty Conference’s schedule of insightful talks continued with a fascinating talk on the theme of Age Defying Beauty: Navigating the Currents of Longevity Practices with Michele Superchi, VP Global Sales Director of BEAUTYSTREAMS and special guest Nicola Palmarini, Director of NICA. 

Later in the day, Amna Abbas, Senior Consultant at Euromonitor International spoke on the topic of Arab Beauty, followed by a panel discussion on the Beauty Tech Boom: Trends and Transformations in the Industry.

beautyLIVE

Making its debut at this year’s Beautyworld Middle East is the beautyLIVE stage which features an exciting blend of live hair and make-up demonstrations. Featured brands on day two included LAKME – a professional hair care product supplier – who demonstrated some of their best-loved tools and Addoony – a luxury Qatari vegan brand made in Italy – who delivered a live makeup session featuring four makeup artists, each creating a signature look.

Arooba Beauty was up next with a spectacular eye-makeup demonstration and then it was on to haircare with Jeff Reiisi, a world class stylist demonstrating top-level hair colouring and bleaching with a recovering effect.

The beautyLIVE schedule finished for the day with the WAHL Strands of Style Hair Fashion Show offering live haircut demos by expert WAHL Educators and an exclusive masterclass from Zara Yuldashevan, a top-tier permanent makeup artist from Uzbekistan.

Beauty Beginnings

During day two of Beautyworld Middle East 2024, Beauty Beginnings in collaboration with International Luxury Brand Consultancy (ILBC) continued its innovative showcase of hand-picked brands which are new to the MENA region. Notable participants include Jillian Switzerland – a leader in sustainability for fragrances; the multi-award winning skincare range Transformulas; and ACTIVITA by No Face Skincare –an innovative, science based range of advanced beauty products.

The most awaited night of the year is here

The fourth edition of the Beautyworld Middle East Awards 2024 took place last night at Conrad Dubai. Awards were delivered across 17 categories to honour the hard work, creativity, and dedication of brands and professionals who have made a significant impact in the region.

Front Row by Nazih

Continuing the high-energy line up of live hair and beauty demonstrations, the Front Row by Nazih stage featured brands including GHD, Guinot, Alterego and Wildcolour.

Nail It! Competition by Nazih Group

The Nail It! competition was in its second day with contenders battling it out in categories including Sculpting Polygel and Gel Tip Extensions. Judging and scoring was followed by an awards ceremony on the Front Row stage.

Fragrance

The much-loved Quintessence attracted hordes of visitors in its luxurious home where the art of perfume and niche fragrances is celebrated featuring some of the world’s most unique brands and creators. Meanwhile, the Emovation Lab invited attendees to create their own personalised scents to resonate with their own personal feelings and memories, and the Signature Scent competition encouraged visitors to cast their vote as 15 international fragrance houses battle it out to create the signature scent of Beautyworld Middle East 2024. 

Looking ahead to the third day…

The final day of Beautyworld Middle East 2024 (30 October) is set to deliver an even more packed schedule of events culminating a spectacular three days.
