BAPS Hindu Mandir Abu Dhabi Celebrates Ram Navmi and Swaminarayan Jayanti with Grand Cultural Festivities
Abu Dhabi, 6 April 2025 – The iconic BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, a beacon of peace and harmony, hosted an inspiring celebration on Sunday, 6 April 2025, marking the birth anniversaries of Bhagwan Shri Ram and Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan. Tens of thousands visited the mandir this weekend to take part in the celebrations.
According to Pujya Brahmavihari Swami, the lead sadhu of the Mandir, the day featured a vibrant series of devotional and cultural events. Youth performers from the community presented compelling dramatizations and traditional dances that depicted the inspiring life and values of Bhagwan Shri Ram.
Devotees and well-wishers residing in the UAE participated in this special occasion. The day’s events included:
- 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Devotional Ram bhajans and the celebration of Shri Ram Janmotsav
- 12:00 PM: Shri Ram Janmotsav Aarti
- 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Cultural presentations on the Mandir’s serene Ganga Ghat, which is uniquely designed to reflect the spiritual confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers
- 8:15 PM – 10:00 PM: Special assembly and celebration of Shri Ram Janmotsav
In addition, the birth celebration of Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan was commemorated with a special evening assembly and the Shri Hari Janmotsav Aarti.
These festivities in Abu Dhabi were part of a global celebration across all BAPS Mandirs in India and around the world, honoring Ram Janmotsav and Swaminarayan Jayanti with devotion, music, and spiritual reflection.
The BAPS Hindu Mandir continues to serve as a spiritual and cultural home for all, promoting values of tolerance, unity, and service.
