My Europe Tour
Paris – Germany – Switzerland- Austria – Italy
Bonjour Paris! It was one of the most memorable trips to be in Paris.
Paris is an undoubtedly beautiful city known for its iconic landmarks, historic sites, and vibrant culture. Taking a city tour of Paris was a great way to explore and discover all that the city had to offer.
we went to Paris’s most famous landmark: The Eiffel Tower (3rd level), from where I had a splendid view of this beautiful city. No visit to Paris is complete without a visit to this magnificence. Behold as you head up to the Eiffel Tower, also nicknamed “The Iron Lady” standing at 324M tall for some breathtaking views of Paris from atop the 3rd level. The only trip to the top of its kind in Paris – Europe, one where emotions carry you away. From the esplanade to the summit, you will experience a whole series of emotions. Soaked in the breathtakingly unique views of Paris from every floor, experienced the incredible ascent by stairway or lift, the indescribable awe at the tonnes of iron above you as you stand on the esplanade. Vertigo grips you as you leave the lift at the top of the tower and see the people down on the Champs-de-Mars and the cars driving along Trocadéro! And the Eiffel Tower always has something to offer, day or night, summer or winter!
Later, we went on an exhilarating city tour with an English – speaking local guide, who showed us many of the best-loved Parisian sights – Alexander Bridge, Arc de Triomphe, Concorde Square, Opera House, Invalides, Champs Elysees and much more. During this visit to Paris, I was charmed by this capital rich in history and beauty also, dazzled, during the tour, by the places and buildings of Paris city. Had Free time to visit the world-renowned Louvre Museum to see the incomparable and the most prestigious painting of ‘Mona Lisa’ – Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece & many more.
Enjoyed a hot Dinner at the Restaurant & stay in Paris was just a superb experience.
Visited Disney Land Park & Walt Disney Studios Park the next day
These are just a few highlights of what I saw during a Paris city tour and I am left with a great experience and memories of Paris. Do take your time and immerse yourself in the city’s rich history and cultural heritage.
Germany
- Titisee: Cuckoo clock demonstration surrounded by dark fir forests, fairy tale woods meadows where here is ‘Drubba’, the home of the world-famous cuckoo clock.
Switzerland
- Jungfraujoch and Interlaken
- Zurich: visited the Lindt Chocolate Museum, a tour of Zurich was one of the most memorable experiences of my Europe tour on our journey to Mt. Titlis I experienced the world’s first 360 degrees revolving cable car from which I was able to gaze at the irreproachable snow-capped mountains. As I reached the summit (3020 M above sea level) many activities are there to keep me occupied.
- Proceeded to the underground ice caves filled with millions of ice crystals that shimmer under soft turquoise light before entering the viewing platform for breathtaking panoramas of the Alps. Next, awaken my inner superhero as I walk across the highest suspension bridge in Europe. The first few minutes may render me speechless but I didn’t forget to enjoy the experience as much as possible! This was followed by the Ice Flyer; gliding from mountain to mountain on a chair lift to the Glacier Park for a super time in the snow. Later I proceeded to scenic Lucerne. Then I got an opportunity to visit the Lion Monument, or the Lion of Lucerne, which is a rock relief in Lucerne, Switzerland, designed by Bertel Thorvaldsen and hewn in 1820–21 by Lukas Ahorn. It commemorates the Swiss Guards who are massacred in 1792 during the French Revolution when revolutionaries stormed the Tuileries Palace in Paris and the Kapell Brucke (wooden bridge It is the oldest wooden bridge in Switzerland dating back to the middle of the 14th century (first written record in 1367). Perhaps even more important, only very few covered wooden bridges do have old paintings under their roofs. I finally had some free time to shop for famous Swiss watches, knives and chocolates.
Austria
- Entered to Swarovski Crystal World
- Had an Orientation tour of Innsbruck
Italy
- Venice: Headed towards Venice, Italy (5 – 6 hours approx.). On arrival in Venice, proceeded to the pier and board a private boat that took me to the heart of Venice – St. Mark’s Square. Sailed over the Giudecca Canal, you catch a glimpse of the serene waters of the Adriatic Sea.
- Proceeded for a Guided walking tour of Venice to admire St. Mark’s Square with the Basilica – one of the best examples of Byzantine architecture anywhere in the world. The famed Bell and the clock, display not only the time of the day but also the dominant sign of the Zodiac and the current phase of the moon. Continued on to the Bridge of Sighs, made of white limestone that passes over the Rio di Palazzo, connecting the old prisons with interrogation rooms at the Doge’s Palace. Had a chance to treasure a romantic gondola ride, in a flat-bottomed Venetian rowing boat, amidst the stunning backdrop of baroque buildings. Also visited the Murano Glass showroom where I saw the glass-making demonstration & which has been a glassmaking center for over 700 years. It is also sometimes referred to as Venetian glass. Today Murano is known for its art glass, but it has a long history of innovations in glassmaking in addition to its artistic fame and was Europe’s first major glassmaking center. Drive to Padova, and on the way explore ‘Prato Della Valle Square’ is a 90,000 square meter elliptical square, It is the largest square in Italy.

It is located in the Italian town of Pisa, one of the most visited European cities. The Tower of Pisa stands at 60 meters and until 1990 was leaning at about a 10-degree angle. Although it was designed to be perfectly vertical, it started to lean during construction. The Tower of Pisa is more accurately referred to simply as the bell tower, or campanile. The Pisa Tower is one of the four buildings that make up the cathedral complex in Pisa, Italy, called Campo dei Miracoli or Piazza dei Miracoli, which means Field of Miracles. The tower has eight stories, including the chamber for the bells.
