Finnish cello rockers Apocalyptica will perform a tribute to the biggest of the big four – heavy metal titans Metallica at The Agenda on September 13th.
Countless shows later, the classically-minded dynamos are returning to their roots to bring a legendary story full circle.

March 7th, 2024 – Dubai, UAE: All Things Live Middle East is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated Dubai debut of world-renowned symphonic metal band, Apocalyptica, in support of the follow-up to their iconic debut record. This show is supported by Dubai Calendar.
The PLAYS METALLICA VOL. 2 TOUR 2024 arrives in Dubai on September 13th when Apocalyptica, who have released nine studio albums since forming in Helsinki in 1993, bring their unique sound to The Agenda in Media City.

On a night fans of Metallica won’t want to miss, Apocalyptica are set to perform carefully crafted interpretations of the US band’s biggest hits.
Metallica are one of the world’s most successful heavy metal groups, with 10 Grammy Award nominations to their name, including one at this year’s event, which took place in February, for Best Metal Performance in relation to their 72 Seasons album, released in 2023.
The Dubai date forms part of Apocalyptica’s European Tour, which begins in Helsinki on June 8th and includes concerts in destinations such as Istanbul, Stockholm, Manchester, London, Dublin, Munich, Paris, Madrid and Milan, before drawing to a close in Belgrade on November 30th.
