Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Get ready to embark on a culinary journey that feels like dining in a royal Punjabi darbar while savouring the heartwarming flavours of your grandma’s kitchen! Designed by the talented award-winning executive Chef Harangad Singh, this five-course sharing menu brings together the heart and soul of Punjab in every bite.
Begin your feast like a true Maharaja with refreshing lassi and the comforting warmth of gudh wali chai, flavours that transport you straight to the bustling streets of Punjab. The chaat section promises to delight with classics like rasna pani poori, bursting with tangy street-style flavours; crispy palak patta chaat drizzled with a perfect blend of sweet and spicy chutneys; and creamy, crunchy bhalla papdi that’s impossible to resist.
The starters bring playful twists to timeless favorites. Vegetarians can enjoy momo kulcha, dahi ke gubbare, and golden-fried tikkis, while non-vegetarians are treated to smoky bhatti ka murg, tender lamb kebabs, and the flavourful keema kulcha.
The main course is a true Punjabi affair, packed with hearty dishes. Vegetarians can relish the classic kullad wala saag with makki di roti, cooker matar paneer, creamy dal makhani, and Bombay tawa pulao, paired with an assortment of fresh breads. For those who prefer non-veg delights, there’s the robust kullad wala saag meat with makki di roti, homestyle cooker kukkad, flavourful meat chawal, dal makhani, and plenty of bread to mop up every delicious bite.
End on a sweet note with desserts that are pure comfort food. Indulge in khajoor paratha slathered with Amul butter and the quintessential gajar ka halwa, a winter favourite that completes every Punjabi meal.
Executive Chef Harangad Singh shares his inspiration for the feast: “The Great Royal Punjabi Feast is not just a menu; it’s a heartfelt tribute to the traditions and flavours of Punjab.
