Dubai, UAE 5 February 2025: Day four of Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) continued to raise the bar for diversity and excellence in collections and designers alike, starting with Russia’s avant-garde label, Viva Vox. DFW Member Lama Jouni followed with a showcase of her signature elegance and modernity before CHOICE took the runway with pieces inspired by the 1970s. Riva brought sophisticated Spring/Summer designs to the stage, and DFW Member Michael Cinco closed the day with a luxurious presentation that showcased his masterful craftsmanship.

DFW, the city’s official fashion week, is running until tomorrow night at the Dubai Design District (d3), a member of TECOM Group PJSC. It is co-founded by d3 and the Arab Fashion Council to cement Dubai’s status as a global fashion capital.

VIVA VOX

Russia’s Viva Vox kicked off day four with a captivating collection in line with the brand’s signature style – bold, edgy and unexpected. Known for its luxe and avant-garde designs, Creative Director Oleg Ovsiyov brought together daring silhouettes, vibrant colours, and experimental fabric combinations that reflected a staunch commitment to pushing fashion boundaries.

LAMA JOUNI

DFW Member Lama Jouni unveiled her Autumn/Winter 2025-26 line to a packed house of media, buyers, influencers and enthusiasts. Emphasising practicality and utility, the collection featured a fusion of luxury and streetwear, including chic dresses and waist-enhancing separates in muted and monochrome tones. The presentation celebrated the female form with a versatility of silhouettes on display.

CHOICE

CHOICE’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection drew inspiration from the timeless tastes and subtle glamour of the 1970s. Starting with natural, lightweight fabrics perfect for the season, such as linen and cotton, the collection transitioned to sophisticated tweeds, luxurious chiffon and silk embellished with metallic fringes and sequins.  Silhouettes taking the runway combined femininity with comfort, featuring skirts and dresses accentuating the waist, asymmetric designs with dramatic draping, and versatile trench coats, all complemented by bold accessories. Even the colour palette altered from white to black and desert-inspired hues.

RIVA

Riva’s Spring/Summer 2025 womenswear showcase blended timeless charm with contemporary sophistication. The collection featured flowing kaftans, flattering silhouettes, matching sets, and versatile designs adorned with intricate embroidery, shimmering accents, and textured details. The pieces were crafted from lightweight fabrics such as linen, cotton, and ramie, balancing a calming palette of off-white, mint, and sand with warm caramel, bronze, and olive green hues. Designed to transition seamlessly from urban outings to intimate gatherings, this masterful collection captured the essence of summer.

MICHAEL CINCO

Miss Universe 2024 Victoria Kjær Theilvig graced the runway for Michael Cinco’s iconic Autumn/Winter 2025 presentation, which featured opulent gowns adorned with intricate embellishments, rich brocade fabrics, and silhouettes. Seamlessly blending classical influences with contemporary couture, the show nodded to Cinco’s exceptional craftsmanship and enduring appeal as a breakout-out star in Dubai and the region’s fashion landscape.

BUYER’S PROGRAMME

Beyond the runway shows, DFW forged bridges between designers and retailers with the Buyers Programme, which runs at d3 from 3 to 5 February. This exclusive platform provides an intimate setting for industry professionals and emerging talents to connect and collaborate, supporting talent discovery and networking. Accessible by appointment only, the Buyers Programme enables designers to showcase their collections to a select group of international buyers.

Alongside the designers featured on DFW’s runway, the Buyers Programme includes talent such as Amer (Lebanon), Amina Galal (Egypt), Bil Arabi (UAE), Born Outside Italy (UAE/Italy), Elise (Kuwait/Paris), Emergency Room (Lebanon), Ilyes Ouali (London), Joanna Laura (Lebanon), Late for Work (Morocco), and Yassmin Saleh (UAE/Lebanon).

DFW is brought to life through strategic partnerships with global brands. This includes Visa as the official technology partner, Balmain Hair Couture as the official hair partner, Kiko Milano as the official make-up partner, ME Dubai as the official hospitality partner and Electra and Magnum as the production and audio-visual partners, respectively.
