
The National Human Rights Institution Conducts Introductory Visit to Ajman Police General Headquarters
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, May 01, 2025: As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional partnerships and promote a culture of human rights in the United Arab Emirates, His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, received a delegation from the National Human Rights Institution (NHRI), led by H.E. Maqsoud Kruse, Chairperson of the NHRI.
The meeting was attended by NHRI Board of Trustees Members Dr. Ahmed Al Mansoori, Dr. Zayed Al Shamsi, and Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Noman, as well as H.E. Dr. Saeed Al Ghfeli, NHRI Secretary-General; Amro Al Qahtani, Director of the Office of the Chairperson; Abdulazeez Al Obthani, Head of International & Regional Organizations; and Fatima Al Hosani, Head of Awareness and Education Section, and Klaithem Al Kaabi from the Media Center.
This introductory visit aimed to build bridges of cooperation and enhance coordination between the two entities.
During the meeting, the NHRI delegation outlined the Institution’s mandate and its role in promoting and protecting human rights. They emphasized the importance of collaboration with police and security authorities in supporting the justice system and upholding the humanitarian principles enshrined in national legislation and relevant international agreements.
