Sep 2, 2025

Abu Dhabi, September 2025, ADNEC – The Abu Dhabi International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2025 has launched several exciting new features for this year’s exhibition, alongside the return of several family favourites that celebrate the rich culture and heritage of the UAE. ADIHEX is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Rulers Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club.

ADNEC Group, a Modon Holding company, in collaboration with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, has organised the 22nd edition of ADIHEX, held at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from August 30 to September 7, 2025. This year is set to be the largest edition since the event’s launch in 2003, featuring the return of several enhanced experiences along with the introduction of many more exciting activities for all ages.

Taking place for the first time at ADIHEX is the Young Falconers’ Village along with the Emirati Etiquette and Arabic Coffee Preparation Learning Zone, providing interactive workshops educating children about traditional Bedouin Campsite and all things falconry. The Hadheera Area is dedicated to teaching children about Emirati etiquette, including the proper way to meet and greet guests, appropriate behaviour in a majlis, and the correct method for pouring and serving Arabic coffee. This initiative aims to preserve and uphold the traditions of Emirati hospitality.

Also making its debut this year is the Traditional Handicrafts Zone, which has quickly become a highlight of the exhibition. Visitors can learn first-hand how Emirati artisans make perfumes and incense the traditional way, craft incense burners from clay, and practice sadu and khous weaving. They can also try tally embroidery, traditionally used to adorn Emirati women’s clothing.

Also new for 2025 is the Creative Experience by ADIHEX, offering fun and immersive artistic activities for all age groups. Here youngsters can create their own artwork in Marbling Workshops and Mural Painting experiences, which they can take home as souvenirs of their unique artistic creations.

Also make its debut this year is the Decoden Japanese Art by Shade Studio, offering a new and engaging creative experience for all ages. Participants use a buttercream icing-like glue to hand-pipe textured designs, decorating items like phone covers and accessories with colourful charms and figurines, embracing the whimsical and over-the-top style of Japanese Decoden art. There will also be pottery workshops for visitors of all ages given by Emirati Pottery Expert Saeed Al Shehhi.

The Arena has once again returned as the heart and soul of ADIHEX, with an array of exciting new shows, auctions, competitions and displays. Debuting this year is the Horse Master Liberty Show, with Hollywood’s renowned Ali Al Ameri demonstrating exceptional horsemanship skills and thrilling trick riding. The Emirates Arabian Horse Society is also hosting an exclusive Arabian Horse auction, showcasing some of the most beautiful and premium breeds. New cultural displays and demonstrations in this year’s programme include the Arabian Saluki Lure Coursing Demonstration, the Falconry and Mongolian Eagle Hunting Simulation, and the Traditional Bedouin Camel Show.

The Knowledge Hub has made its much-anticipated return to ADIHEX, serving as a dynamic platform where exhibitors, experts, innovators, and industry leaders are showcasing their latest innovations and cutting-edge technologies. This hub provides an invaluable opportunity to share industry trends, research findings, and visionary ideas that are shaping the future of the diverse sectors represented at ADIHEX. In addition, governmental entities and international associations are also using the platform to raise awareness about important initiatives and nationwide campaigns. The Knowledge Hub is also hosting special morning sessions designed just for children, fostering learning and engagement from an early age.

For those with a passion for marksmanship, the Target Shooting & Shooting Simulation promises adrenaline-pumping action, testing participants’ accuracy and composure under pressure.

The introduction of these new features, along with the return of old favourites, underscores ADIHEX’s commitment to remaining the premier hunting, equestrianism, and outdoor sports event in the MENA region. The event continues to set the standard for outdoor lifestyles, with daily shows, events, auctions and competitions, combined with the latest innovations in RVs, camping, safari, fishing, marine sports fields and other outdoor pursuits catering to adventure enthusiasts.
