December 7th, 2023 – Abu Dhabi, UAE: Celebrity chef Moe Cason will be cooking up a storm at the world’s first-ever Open Fire Food Festival by Steve Harvey, which takes place at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi on February 24th-25th.
Presented by MELT Middle East, a joint venture between OWS Capital and Steve Harvey Global, the first-of-its-kind event is set to enhance Abu Dhabi’s fast-growing reputation as a culinary hub, bringing a selection of the world’s finest chefs together to create a host of fantastic dishes on an open flame.
American Cason, a self-taught barbecue expert who has featured as a contestant and judge on high-profile US cooking shows such as World of Flavour with Big Moe Cason, Pitmaster’s, BBQ Pit Wars and SMOKED, has been confirmed as the first celebrity chef to be taking part in the festival, with additional star-studded names set to be announced in the lead-up to the event.
A former member of the US Navy, Cason honed his skills through taking part in over 260 cooking competitions where he won multiple awards.
On being announced as one of the celebrity chefs at the event, Cason said: “I’m so excited for this one as we are making history with the world’s first-ever Open Fire Food Festival, and I’m delighted to be joining Steve Harvey for what will be an amazing event.
“I will be bringing the smoking flavors to Abu Dhabi on February 24th-25th and barbecue lovers can look forward to sampling some magnificent meaty dishes over the course of the two days at Yas Marina Circuit.

Tickets for the event are on sale now, with a range of packages available, starting at AED 60 for standard entry and AED 180 for VIP. Weekend passes can also be purchased.
