Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi Partners with Pink Caravan to Host the Next Edition of ‘Ride with Rixos’ in Support of Pinktober
Taking place on October 18th, the eighth community cycling event will be held in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in collaboration with Pink Caravan, an initiative under Friends of Cancer Patients
Additionally, participants will enjoy a warm-up and post-ride stretching session led by lululemon, as well as complimentary refreshments by Rite and exciting giveaways.
Abu Dhabi, (6th October 2025): October is known globally as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and once again, Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi is doing its part to shine a light on this worthy cause. In honour of Pinktober, the property will host the eighth edition of ‘Ride with Rixos’ on October 18th in partnership with Pink Caravan, lululemon, and Rite. Open to the entire community, it’s a chance to come together, raise awareness, and take part in a powerful ride along Abu Dhabi’s stunning Corniche.
Now in its eighth edition, ‘Ride with Rixos’ has grown from a fun community ride into a citywide movement, capturing the attention of residents and fitness enthusiasts alike. What began on World Bicycle Day in June 2023 has evolved into a highly anticipated event in the capital’s calendar, with over 1,000 participants joining across its seven previous cycles. Each ride supports a meaningful cause, with past editions in partnership with organisations such as Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE and Al Jalila Foundation, championing health awareness and charitable giving.
The inspiring Pinktober edition will start at 6:30 AM, with participants gathering at the front entrance of Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi. Kicking things off, riders can enjoy a dynamic warm-up session, followed by a post-ride stretching routine, both led by lululemon, a brand that is renowned for promoting wellness through mindful movement. At 7:00 AM, the 20km scenic cycling route along Abu Dhabi’s iconic Corniche will begin, giving participants the chance to show their support for breast cancer awareness while enjoying a leisurely ride in the autumn sunshine.
Upon reaching the finish line, riders will be welcomed back to Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, where they can enjoy an array of refreshments followed by a breakfast gathering. To help participants cool down, a post-ride stretching session will be available at the wellness area, as well as a revitalising ice bath to leave them feeling refreshed and energised.
In addition, Ride with Rixos will partner with Rite, the UAE-born wellness brand known for its natural and vegan supplements that support energy, digestion, and overall wellbeing. To keep everyone feeling their best, Rite will provide pre- and post-ride drinks, including its gut health prebiotic mix and protein shake.
Pink Caravan, the official awareness partner for the event, is a pan-UAE breast cancer initiative under the Friends of Cancer Patients’ umbrella programme ‘Kashf’. Launched in 2011 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi and Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, the initiative continues to champion vital awareness across the country. By partnering with community-driven events like Ride with Rixos, Pink Caravan furthers its mission of spreading knowledge, encouraging prevention, and supporting early detection of breast cancer.
