Sharjah International Book Fair 2023 strikes a melodious note with young talents
SIBF activities take attendees on an enthralling voyage into the world of violin
Learning and laughter filled the air at the Sharjah International Book Fair (2023) as children
were introduced to the delicate art of violin playing at the kids’ activities corner.
Guided by Tarsa, a seasoned violinist, the young attendees of the workshop were introduced to
the fundamentals of playing the violin through a series of interactive demonstrations. From
mastering the delicate balance of holding the instrument to placing their tiny fingers on the
strings, each step was carefully crafted to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the violin’s
nuances.
The violinist’s ability to create an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere inspired the children to
explore their creativity and express themselves through the captivating melodies they produce,
supported by a musical background of some world-famous melodies.
“By providing a platform for young minds to engage with the world of music, the Kids Activities
Hall is instilling a lifelong passion for the arts and encouraging younger generations to pursue
creative excellence, leaving a lasting impression on the participants and sparking musical
curiosity that will continue to flourish in the years to come,” Tarsa noted.
The event’s successful sessions are yet another milestone in the Sharjah International Book
Fair’s ongoing commitment to fostering cultural exchange and nurturing artistic talents among
the younger generation. There are hundreds of workshops covering art, craft, music, cookery,
comics, physical and mental wellness, and more, that will continue to engage visitors of all age
groups at SIBF 2023 until November 12.
