Unique competition, which will see winners perform live at The Agenda, is open to bands across the UAE

To enter, bands must submit performance videos, with Apocalyptica set to select the winners

Finnish cello rock band Apocalyptica will be performing a tribute to Metallica at The Agenda in Dubai on September 13th

July 2, 2024 – Dubai, UAE: UAE bands looking for an opportunity to showcase their talents on the big stage can now apply to perform at The Agenda in Dubai as the opening act forFinnish cello rocker band Apocalyptica.

Apocalyptica are set to make their Dubai debut on September 13th as part of a tour which began in Helsinki on June 8th and concludes in Belgrade on November 30th.

Now, the search is on to find a stellar opening act to kick off a fantastic night of entertainment in Dubai, with the winners set to enjoy a career-defining moment in front of more than 2000 fans at one of the city’s most exciting music venues.

To date, The Agenda’s stage has played host to the likes of English rock bandNothing But Thieves, and Moroccan-Canadian songstress, Faouzia, along with many more international acts.

Bands wishing to enter the competition can do so by posting performance clips on Instagram, tagging both @allthingsliveme and @apocalypticaofficial.

On the night, Apocalyptica will be performing hits from their latest record, Apocalyptica Plays Metallica, Vol. 2, which was released in June.
