On August 26th, 2024, we will be celebrating the 114th birthday of Mother Teresa at the 24th International Mother Teresa Awards Ceremony at Millennium Plaza Dubai.
The distinguished personalities will be honoured this year are Kumar Sanu – Eminent playback singer from Bollywood
Meenakshi Seshadri – Eminent actor from Bollywood
Vivek Oberoi – one of the most prominent actors from Bollywood ( who lives in Dubai)
Jogen Chowdhury, an Indian and international renowned painter
Mr. Rizwan Sajan – Business Icon
Mr. Mahatabur Rahman – Bangladeshi industrialist,
Master Ahmed Al Hashemi of Abu Dhabi – eminent pianist who is autistic
Mr. Joao Bernardo Vieira II-Renowned Politician Guinea
Ms. Irka Bochenko Notable Actress, James Bond series
Mr. Surender Singh Kandhari – Renowned Businessman and Social work
Dr. Mahra Lutfi – Renowned Physician
Suad Al Suwaidi – First Emirati and First Arab woman Wildlife Photographer
Sucheta Sathish – Singer and Guiness record holder
The event will have a cake cutting ceremony celebrating the birth anniversary of Mother Teresa and there will be a documentary on her life that will be screened.
The program is organized and conducted by Mr. Tapan Roy, Vice Chairman of the Mother Teresa Award Committee and Mr. Lalit Sharma. It is presented and anchored by Mr. Joseph Chacko. The event will be attended by Committee Chairman Dr. T.H. IRELAND, Chief Patron Mr. Rajeev Sabrawal, dignitaries such as Dr. Ashok Poddar, Mr. Imran Zaki, Mr. S.Khemka and media personality Ms. Manju Ramanan.
